Blogging Fieldtrip

I chose this one to comment is because I have the same habit with her, by the way, the blog belongs to Stephanie. I had collected all series of Harry Potter back to the senior high school when I was 14. I enjoy it so much, even now. I'm a huge fan of it, I watch movies of it and read books of it, I did almost everything I could do to love it. I can't remember how many times I read it, but I'm able to make a summary without any prep for any single book. Anyway, collecting books is the way to accumulate more knowledge.

This is the second comment I left today, it was on Ileana's blog. She talked about our experiences in these four years in high school, I'm sure it's a memory for our whole lives. Because everyone only has one high school timing to spend and high school is the most active period in all periods we'll ever be. So why don't we just take a break and remember all this, and then moving on.

The first comment I left is in Xinge's  blog, She arranged the layout and order pretty clearly, which gives me a comfortable feeling, and her Blackout poetry is very creative and true. For instance, people in love should be fair because everyone is equal and there is no superiority or inferior. So I like it so much

Pollution

Pollution is harmful to human beings. Polluted water causes many kinds of diseases such as diarrhea, enteritis, etc. And sometimes these diseases even take man’s life. Dirty air or air-borne garbage causes stinging eyes and running nose. Pollutants are destructive. They cause runs in nylon stockings and crack rubber tires and they eat away at stone and rust iron. Measures have been taken to control pollution. In recent years, legislative steps have been introduced to control pollution. Rivers are being cleaned. Air is purified, and pollutants are being trapped before they are poured out of chimneys. However, pollution problems have not been completely solved. Pesticides are widely used almost everywhere. They pollute soil, water and food. They have the power to make our streams fishless and our gardens and woodlands silent and birdless. Some factories are still using air as a dumping place for wastes. Some lakes are still dirty. Quite a few chimneys are still pouring smoke into air and noise pollution remains serious.

 My love basketball team

As you can see, there is a logo of Los Angels Lakers above and number 24 on the right side. I think most of people know it already, because it's been the sign of royalty and championship— purple and gold. I love this team not only because its amazing history but also the man: Kobe Bryant. He was picked in the 13th place of first drift in 1996 from high school directly, actually he was traded to Lakers back then. He works hard everyday, something he even start training at 4am, who would ever have this perseverance? My answer is no oneSince then, he and O'neal created a dynasty for winning 3 championships in a row and became a superstar in NBA. Until now, he's been playing for 17 years in this association, the most impressing part of him is the spirit which is never give up. This year, he said he is starting thinking about retirement, I'm sure I will be depressed if he does so.

Weekly Reflection #5

Book: Snitch

Author:Allison Van Viepen

Pages read:97-137

Getting in April, the snow is still staying on the ground, it doesn't seem to like go away but alright, what else can we do about it? Let's back to the book. I read it from last week that Eric joined a gang named Crip, but Julia wasn't willing to accept this fact because she hates gangs as hell, more importantly, Eric didn't really want to discuss this whole thing with her before he jumped in, so Julia had nothing to do but broke up with Eric. Since then, everything seems to back on the same old track, but for me, I don't think so. As the understanding I have about Julia, I believe and predicted that this isn't the ending of this relationship, something will still be happening.

After a whole week's absences of school, Eric's back to class but apparently, his teacher was pissed off because of it, so Mrs. Ivey wanted to have a conversation with him, I'd like to point out a very frequent and funny face behaviour's- nostrils flared, which most likely means this guy is on the edge. I take this as a sign of anger and a part of the art of conversation. The next thing happened have made me more positive in the side of this is not the ending of them, because Julia noticed there was something up which is probably bad for Eric and warned him, saved him. I don't thing an extraneous would do things to others as Julia did, so I believe there will be something happen, no doubt. I hope they can work it out and back to together.

We worked a long time for Blackour poetry, which requires us to choose letters from newspapers to form the poetry we want by drawing black and leaving blanks. I think I've done it smoothly, I didn't encounter many problems when I arranged to finish it, I chose three topics related to our lives and society named Reality, and revealed some real problem in our lives. Of course I had my challenges in the process, my bad hand-drawing made me do the same one over and over, almost took my all patience, but I got it done anyway. For the parts that I like, I think my content is worth to read because they are really close to our lives, for example, Winnipeg's snow is a very serious problem troubling people living in Winnipeg. So I think this is my biggest advantage of my poetry.

Comparing with other normal ways, Blackout poetry is more funny, it interests more children to read instead a few of children are willing to read. It also gives the creator more space to think every possible way, gives more choices. As a reader, I like finding these little letters and form up a complete poetry, it is really interesting for me and I believe many people do. There is another benefit for readers that readers can think up more ideas basic on the original poetry. Anyway, I think Blackout poetry is a new modern method for people to read.

Daily Creative #8

One of my friend asked me to write a little passage for assignment, it's about thrift. So the passage is following:

Build an abstemious school
Thrift is one of the traditional virtues that we’re supposed to have as a Chinese, but since the society and economy are developing under a high acceleration, some of those virtues, especially thrift have been abandoned.  We can see a lot of behaviors in school nowadays that in the opposite side against thrift, including the wasting of hydroelectric and wasting foods in restaurant, moreover, I’m sure there are more wastes than everyone’s thoughts.  Lots of people wouldn’t think about the bad effects when they’re wasting, but I came up with some ideas that could basically reveal these: It’s very obvious that we’re wasting money as the same time when we’re wasting anything. More than this, we would probably restrict the development of society, even country if the amount is great enough.  Since the serious problem is evitable, I have some advices might will help to keep it down. It basically contains two parts: Self and Policy. On one hand, to change the perceptions inside of people’s hearts, some institutions need to do more educations to popularize it; this is actually I think the most useful way. On the other hand, government needs to make more moves, such as publishing a law or policy which is related to people’s sakes closely, I believe this could also help.  Anyway, we cannot reach the goal without everybody’s efforts, so let’s do it from now on, from myself.

My favorite page in my note book.

I skimmed inside of my note book looking for my favorite one and I came up with this page- my digital footprint. The reason I chose this one isn't because how beautiful I've done on this drawing but just my confidence and courage. Well, to be honest, I never have been a good drawer or hand-writer, I don't know why and I've been trying to figure it out, once I got stuck, I would give myself a reason: that's genetic problem, but still, I drew this picture anyway.

As I said, I was so confident back to that time when I drew, I'm not proud of my drawing but I'm glad to have that confidence in this area I hadn't reached before since ever. That's probably the why I like this page best.

Blackout Poetry #3

For this one, I'd like to talk about the snow in Winnipeg. We're already into April, it's supposed to be warm, I don't expect it will go up to 20℃ but even though, it just can't make it above 0℃. So I selected these words or letters and made up a little poetry to honor the snow in Winnipeg: Winnipeg's snow is driving me mad!

Blackout Poetry #2

Here goes the second one of my poetry, the title is Laws Work and the content is to judge and protect the rights of people.

Blackout Poetry #1

Just in case that you may not see these words clearly, I will do some explanations follow every poetry. As you can see, the title of it is Refuse betray, but how do we arrange to do it? Here comes my perception: Simple makes life trusted.
