Reading Survey.

 

1.The reason that I come to this class is to gain some knowledge in the area of writing and reading.I also have another English 40SC course in the afternoon,so I wish I could bring the both marks up with learning them both.For people who's like me that English ain't the primary language, the more English part we touch,the faster our English make progress.I am told that I would learn how to be in touch with others on internet in this class,that's something I didn't know before.These are the reasons I've chosen this class.

2.There are many great or talented writers in the pass history,like Tagore,Shakespeare Maupassant.They wrote novels,poesies and all types of creations,but being a brilliant writers as them isn't just because their gifts,we should know what they have paid for the success.No one can be successful without efforts.For a good writer, the necessary efforts have to be made are:be good at observing,read more and more,be knowledgeable of everything.These qualities would never make your creation boring but attractive for readers.

3.Everyone has their own likes not except me,some people like comedies,some like science fiction and there must be a group fun of thriller.But for me,I prefer whodunits than any above those.The reason that I love them is many of these clues are through the whole story, they're trivial and easy to be ignored by readers but important much more than everything in this book, because once the truth's coming out, readers would be shocked and regret themselves for the careless they were. This is another grace of whodunits.

4.Talk about re-read books. Actually I've re-read many books, some of them are classical, others are modern but for all, I really enjoy  <harry Potter> written by J.K Rowling.She described the whole story with a boy whom she came across on train, I felt very excited when I first read this book. These magic skills these really hold me in and never let me go. So I read it over and over and get different feelings about it each time. I read it and the amazing things is <Harry Potter> have sold millions of copies all over the world,if you haven't read the book yet. I really strong recommend you read it, and you will find a wonderful world.

5.I have an iphone and data but actually not enough, and of course a laptop that I have access, but consider I don't read book frequently, I don't have any electronic device, but iphone should work. Since I have been in Canada, I applied a facebook and skype account, the reason I didn't apply a twitter account is that I don't think there is going to be many friends of mine.So I prefer using phones than any other device, which is lighter and more multiple functional.

  Dear Ms.Mclauchlan,things went so well last Friday in class.I picked book <snitch> to read I hope it is going to be interesting.The First impression that I have for this book is the cover which has a girl's stomach and of course with jeans.I was wondering why did the author choose this picture as cover,then I made a prediction for it:this book was written around a girl or girls.Till I opened up the book and found out this book is actually around a girl named Julia,a girl who might be going through her teen period.Personally,I like this type of books so much because it's kind of like happens in our life same thing as the book wrote.

  As my reading going,a argument between Ms.howard and Julia attracts me.It's a serious argument as I see,and the author used‘snapped' to show the anger Ms.howard had,there won't be a better word than that I think.After all these happened,Julia was asked to go dean and the whole class went quiet suddenly even could hear a pin drop,they were shocked.Julia was also shocked by this,"my legs felt like jelly" could reflect this perfectly as we all know jelly is very soft.So actually Julia was anxious about going to dean.

  With the plots going develop,a bathroom lady was coming up named Diana.She allowed Julia go into bathroom without pass.She was a nice lady or maybe a little pity about what was going on with Julia.On the way to dean,Julia met Black Chunk,a guy who doesn't like to be called Chunk because it sounds like a Jewish name.I think he is just a interesting guy.In the end of reading today,I noticed a clever irony used when Julia realized the strictest lady was on duty,so here"just my luck" actually means the right opposite way that she was going to be tragic.After the starters today,I believe this book is sure going to interesting.

Pause life or go back?

If I could go back at a certain time point,I think I would prefer to go back my childhood.Because we always off of pressure during that time and we are not required to be stressful about anything:no homework,no complicated social intercourse,no need to face some serious facts or determine which way should I go in the future,all of these things can be avoided.We enjoy simple which is rare with the age increasing.Another positive part of going back is we could correct some mistakes we have made which affects me till now.

Secret lair

My secret lair is an island that located in The Pacific,which is isolated from the busy wide-world.It's better be warm all year long because I used to live somewhere cold like Canada and I want to change the climate where I stay.In this island,I would build the highest speed internet cable through ocean and I'll buy a huge screen for both my computer and TV,and of course wash machine,AC and some sorts of life necessaries. I have to think about how am I going to live without people,right a dog,I like dogs and I should feed a dog named it AK because AK is my best shot of guns series.Last I would have a robot to serve me somehow.That's my secret lair.

Here I want to talk about my backpack.My backpack is mixed by grey and orange stripes,I bought it from Walmart.I wasn't sure what's in my backpack until I opened it up.Then basically I counted that there are two banders,one of them is for physics and chemistry,another one is for English.Personally I don't like messing stuff up.There also is a glasses with the box of it which is brown and there is black calculator to help me solve mathematics and science questions.Anyway I like my backpack.
